While some people enjoy the fashion statement of glasses, others prefer their appearance without them. Contact lenses can achieve this without irreversible surgery. Contact lenses can also provide a full field of unobstructed vision, which is good for participation in sports and for wearing at the gym. They can also provide you with a break from wearing spectacles.

Contact lenses have been around for more than 100 years. During that time, much advancement has been made that allow just about everyone to wear contact lenses. If you were told in the past that you couldn't wear contact lenses, odds are that's not true today. There are more convenient and healthy contact lens options than ever.

Contact lenses are widely available in many types, sizes, materials and prescriptions.

A contact lens check up is recommended every 6 months to a year to check the condition of the eye and to see if lenses are fitting well and the prescription is still suitable for you. We also offer a personalised and experienced contact lens fitting and teach session.

SOFT CONTACT LENSES

Daily Disposables
For both comfort and convenience these lenses are ideal. They can be worn as little and as often as suits your lifestyle and can be thrown away after each wear. No cleaning or solution needed for Dailies.

Monthly Disposables
Monthly lenses are ideal if you want to spend a little less money. They can be worn everyday for a month and need to be cleaned with solution after each wear and then stored in solution each day.

Two Weekly Disposables
Similar to Monthly lenses however they have only a 2 week wear to them.

Monthly/ Two Weekly Disposable Torics
These are lenses which are suitable for those who have astigmatism but need to be disposed in 2 weeks or a month.

Bifocal/ Progressive/ Multifocal
These are recommended to those who are presbyopic and have a different prescription for reading and distance. They are available as dailies, monthly or two-weekly options.

Extended Wear
These lenses are also known as night and day wear. They can be worn throughout the day and evening and you can even sleep in them. Ideal for those who lead a hectic life and are a bit forgetful, these lenses are even good for people who need an unprecedented amount of oxygen to the cornea.

Disposable Coloured lenses
We have a wide range of colours to enhance your natural eyes. We have freshlook colours, Colourblends, freshlook radiance, and freshlook dimensions. These are all available in one monthly disposables. Also now, daily disposable coloured lenses have been introduced in a limited selection of colours.

GAS PERMEABLE CONTACT LENSES
Some people may not be suitable for the traditional soft contact lenses that are described above, and they therefore have to go for the rigid gas permeable (GP) contact lenses. These are more frequently used for people with high astigmatism and keratoconus.
